The world's first communication network that is based on Brain-Computer interface. Neurochat was specially designed for patients with severe speech and movement disorders, enabling them to communicate with each other, medical staff, friends and relatives.
TYPING WITH YOUR MIND
Neurochat allows typing without any speech or movements. The software displays a keyboard on a laptop/desktop screen and periodically lights up a set of letters. He/she has to simply concentrate on the letter that he/she wants to type and emotionally react whenever that letter lights up on the screen. The neuroheadset captures the emotional reaction and types out the intended letter. The system also incorporates the use of a predictive system to aid the process of typing.
SOCIAL NETWORK COMMUNICATION
Neurochat was created for patients to not only communicate with their closest relatives but also for them to communicate with people all over the world. As such, there are works undergoing to connect Neurochat to other social networks and messengers.
In addition to online communication, Neurochat allows users an opportunity to access other Internet services which have been integrated into the system. Currently, users can read thematic news feeds (sports, politics, culture, etc.), watch videos and even write an online diary.
CONTROL OF EXTERNAL DEVICES
We are working on connecting Neurochat to other electronic devices so that user can interact with, for example, “Smart House”.
